What a fun afternoon and evening. For many years Don and I have discussed the idea of having a Christmas Concert. It all seemed impossible because of our yearly preparation for the annual show. Not this year! By joining with the Wamego Dutch Mill Chorus we were able to accomplish something entirely new for our chorus. I know our fall schedule seemed pretty hectic, but the chorus came through with flying colors, and I think, had fun along the way. The Wamego board began discussing this |

possibility soon after our spring show where they were our guests. My daughter brought their invitation to my attention soon after that and it went to our board. The board agreed and Kathy Cornish, Wamego director, picked the songs we were to prepare for the joint performance. After viewing the selections, I thought to myself that this would be a big undertaking. We traveled to Wamego to rehearse, and their chorus came to Manhattan a few weeks later.
