WOW! What a weekend. From the compliments I’ve received from audience members to the smiles on the directors’ faces, the show on Saturday, April 17, 2010 was a tremendous success. Even more exciting were the smiles on the faces of Chapter Members who felt good about the work they had just done. Were we perfect or as good as we can be? The obvious answer most of us would give is “no.” But the enthusiasm within the Little Apple Chorus exuded itself during the entire day and into the late night at the After Glow celebration. I am convinced that every member of the Chorus had a great time presenting the show and having fun is one of the aspects of our desire to get better at what we do—entertain people with good four part harmony. Everyone knows the names of the people who worked behind the scenes to create the fantastic sets, to develop the script and prepare us to present a great show. When you see these people, please stop and say “thank you” again for the many hours voluntarily provided to our Chapter to make this show one of the best ever performed by our Chorus. With this kind of talent available to the Little Apple Chorus we can only move onward and upward in terms of our performance abilities. Thank you all for a job well done. Let’s move on and KEEP THE WHOLE WORLD SINGING! ♪ |

Performing on our chapter’s spring show last Saturday was enjoyable and fun. I have heard many positive comments from persons who attended. Now my challenge/responsibility is to do better to help the chorus. And there is no question about what I need to do. It is like a person in the Marine Corp. He knows what to do -- he does not need to ask if he is to run.♪ |
