   Valentine’s Day started early this year, on Friday the 12^th in fact.  This is my fourth year as an active participant in Singing Valentines deliveries.  The first two years I was a Driver / Presenter and what great fun it was!  The “Driver” is the most important part of the Singing Valentines  operation.  Without him the Quartets couldn’t get to where they sing their Love Songs.  Well, maybe the “Presenter” is the most important person because he has to find the recipient of the Singing Valentines or the Quartets would have no one to sing to.  Then again, maybe the “Quartets” are the most important persons of the Singing Valentine operation because without them we wouldn’t need drivers or presenters.  Yes, I believe the “Quartets” are the most important because the last two years I’ve been in a quartet, Three Hoots & a Holler.

   But wait!  This year I was a Driver / Presenter / Quartetter.  I have created a dilemma!  What about the people who take the Singing Valentines orders by phone, the folks who organize the orders to the dispatch the drivers, or the people who prepare the roses and the candy?  Also the web master who sets up the on-line order system, which works so very well,  as well as the ladies who set up the lounge area to keep the quartets, presenters, and drivers refreshed and well fed?  And last but not least the Committee who guides the whole process?  OH MY!!  I must admit that EVERY ONE involved with the entire Singing Valentine Operation is the most important part!  Without each and every part it could not be a successful Singing Valentine Event.  I’m just glad to be a small part of all the FUN! ♪
