1. Never slap a man who’s chewing tobacco. 2. Never kick a cow chip on a hot day. 3. There are two theories of arguing with a woman…neither works. 4. Never miss a good chance to shut up. 5. Always drink upstream from a herd. 6. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. 7. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it and put it back in your pocket 8. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves. 9. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment. 10. If you're riding' ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's still there. 11. Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier'n puttin' it back. 12. After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. While on a road trip, Harry and his wife stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant and resumed their trip. When leaving, his wife unknowingly left her glasses on the table and she didn't miss them until they had been driving about twenty minutes. By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around -- in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses All the way back, Harry became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up. To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As his wife got out of the car and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer, Harry, yelled to her. "While you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card!" |

It is beginning to look like, just maybe, spring is coming. I am ready. We went to Texas the last of February to find some sun. We found rain and two days of sun. But we did have fun anyway. Most of our snow is gone but there are still drifts in some areas. Anyone want to come up for one last snowball fight? I haven’t be able to hear much of your music for the show so far this year but I am anxious to hear what you have for us. I know it will be good. Practice hard this last few weeks. Happy Saint Patrick's Day. |
