The Greybeards have their first performance at a surprise birthday party.

They are left to right, John Trail, tenor, Terry Nanninga, lead,

Bart Bartholomew, bass and Terry Smith, bari.

On Saturday, May 8, Betty Wenzl, one of the Valentine recipients from the Vermillion area, had a surprise birthday party thrown for her at Valentino’s in Seneca.

The Greybeards were contacted to sing several songs for Betty as another surprise for her. Betty was very pleased and enjoyed the entertainment, along with all the guests at her party. This was

the first performance for the Greybeards.  This group had been called Terry and the Grey Beards but has changed their name to just the Greybeards.  They had a great time and were very well accepted by the audience.  A number of comments were received on how well everyone enjoyed the singing and that the harmony was awesome. We look forward to doing future performances.   ♪
